In light of the events, Sid tries to give Mai a high class Lockseed. Sid informs the two that the belt that Kouta has used is called a Sengoku Driver and it bonds to the first person who wears it, and it is now Kouta's destiny to use it to help Team Gaim. The two meet up and Kouta decides that they should ask Sid, the Lock Dealer, as to what has been happening. Sometime later, Mai calls Kouta to inform him that Yuya is still missing.
Unfortunately, Kouta ends up messing up while at his jobs and later finds a boy stuck on a tree before the child is saved by Team Baron's leader Kaito Kumon. Transcription: " Hissatsu! Pain Kikku!" ( Japanese: 必殺！パインキック！)Īfter showing his sister that he can transform, though she is annoyed with his repeated changes, Kouta ponders how to use his new abilities. After negating the transformation, Kouta is found by Mai just as he realizes he actually transformed. With the mysterious girl showing him how to use his belt, Kouta uses the Orange Charge attack to destroy the White Tiger Inves. As they take their fight up a building, Kouta sees a mysterious girl resembling Mai who tells him that he is now bound by fate until he dyes the world in his colors. Out of instinct, Kouta uses the Orange Lockseed on the belt and transforms to a samurai-like figure, using his new-found power to overwhelm the White Tiger Inves while quickly learning of his various new abilities. Kouta decides to distract the White Tiger Inves long enough for Mai to escape and get help. They leave the forest, but discover that they are being chased by an Inves that followed them out of the portal. They soon discover the item Yuya was talking about, a strange belt that the Lockseeds can attach to.
They enter the portal and discover a forest full of strange fruit that when picked transform into Lockseeds. When he gets to the meeting point, he finds Mai instead of Yuya, but both find a portal similar to the one used to summon Inves. The next day, Kouta gets a call from Yuya that he has found something interesting. Upon meeting with Team Gaim's leader Yuya Sumii, Kouta learns of how the Inves Game is gaining popularity before he returns home to see his older sister Akira Kazuraba, asking her when he will be able to transform. Luckily, a Team Gaim member named Kouta Kazuraba arrives and sends the monster back, but Team Baron wins by default. However, with Peko helping his team cheat, Team Baron gets an advantage when Mai's Inves manifests in reality and runs amok.
